Live an extraordinary experience: The Chorotega culture. The name was given to the original town of the North Pacific of Costa Rica during the Pre-Columbian era, where most of this culture is located in the province of Guanacaste. From this culture and its traditions, you will learn about its gastronomy, which is based on corn. You will participate with your own hands and help with the preparation of the typical ¨rosquillas¨ with cheese, based on corn or help with the preparation of typical home-made bread, depending on the season. You will also participate in the elaboration of some ceramic object, your hands feel the clay, raw material of this art, while you learn how to produce this kind of art, which has its origin in this region. If you choose the other possible activity, you will never forget the delicate work that involves the manufacture of the marimba, a very complex musical instrument. During all these experiences you will be accompanied by a local guide while the tour takes place in a more than 100 years old casona. If you choose the marimba workshop, you will walk about 10 minutes to the picturesque town, where the workshop takes place. Later on, you will return to the Casona in order to continue with your experience.
