Affectionately the ¨ticos¨ (Costa Ricans) call their capital San José ¨Chepe¨. On this tour, we would like to show you San José´s best side on a two-hour walk. The tour begins at the main entrance of La Merced church and finishes at Parque España. To come and go, you can do it from some hotels located downtown by walking, bus or taxi. At the Central Market of the city, you can observe ticos with their daily purchases of tropical fruits, vegetables and herbs and why not, while you talk with your neighbour you can have a delicious cup of Costa Rican coffee.
