Costa Rica in 360°

We wanted to capture Costa Rica from an angle that is a little different, namely in 360°. More about it in this article! 

The Project

You'll find amazing photos and videos of Costa Rica, like sand on one of its beaches, but the experience you get from photos and videos wasn't enough for us. How about a video with a 360° view? Or two?

We were visiting different, interesting zones of the country and caught some impressions in the so-called virtual reality form.

The Zones

Visited zones are all interesting for tourism, even more, represent highlights of the country. There are even more we would have to include.

Tortuguero

The Tortuguero National Park is one you'll explore by boat, also, it's a destination to watch sea turtles lay their eggs (seasonal phenomenon).

Ostional

Ostional Beach, famous for sea turtles visiting all year long during special times during the month. You'll be able to see sea turtles lay their eggs on this beach.

Marino Ballena

Uvita, with its National Park Marino Ballena, is perfect for going on a whale-watching tour (during special seasons). 

La Fortuna

Find here the spectacular Arenal Volcano as well as different hot springs that are being heated indirectly by the volcano in the town of La Fortuna.

Irazú Volcano

The highest volcano in the country.

Pacuare

The Pacuare is one of the best rivers in the whole of Central America for white water rafting.

The Experience

You're able to enjoy the videos everywhere, if on your desktop computer, your smartphone or on a tablet... But, it gets really interesting if you have the chance to watch both videos on a headset for videos made in virtual reality (VR).  

With such a headset you don't need to do anything more than move your head while watching the video, and you'll find yourself in the midst of Costa Rica!
